Side attractions
Side attractions are available to tourists in many parts of the city and its surroundings. Below we will present you the most popular attractions in Side:
- Ancient Side amphitheater. Today, theatrical and musical performances and excursions are held here. The central entrance, stage and gallery are in good condition.
- Nymphaeum Fountain. An amazing fountain, 5 meters high and 35 meters wide. This is a sanctuary that was built in honor of water nymphs in the 2nd century AD. It is located in the northeastern part of the resort near the city gates.
- Central shopping area from the 2nd century AD It was the largest and the main trade was conducted here.
- The Manavgat Waterfall is 2 meters high and 40 meters wide. Despite its small size, the waterfall is very picturesque. There are many conifers, greenery and flowers here.
- The Temple of Apollo in Side is the meeting place of Queen Cleopatra and Mark Antony (the commander). All lovers love to come here. This place is believed to strengthen relationships.
Side Beaches
The beaches of Side deserve special attention, because it is primarily a resort town. The eastern one stretches for 7 km from the Temple of Apollo to Lake Titreyengol. And Zapadny - 6 km of selected sand with a smooth entry into the water.
