Side beaches

Side beaches

Side beaches border with urban development, but the view is created by cotton fields and citrus groves. The sea at the resort is always quiet, there are no strong waves near the coast, so all the beaches of Side are suitable for swimming for small children and elderly people.

The most popular beach in Side

Side's most popular beach is located on the west side of the Green Peninsula near the resort. This is a municipal city beach, which is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Here you will find entertainment and attractions for every visitor: windsurfing, parasailing, skiing, bananas, scooters, cheesecakes and catamarans, diving and other interesting things. There are many activities for children on this beach. There are areas where the depth of the coastal strip does not exceed 50 cm for tens of meters from the coast. Therefore, it is safe and calm to swim with babies here.

Of course there are other beaches in Side. For example, the eastern beach is less popular, but more free. The depth of the coastal line here is shallow, but there are also deep zones near the coast. Sand of a beautiful bright yellow color shimmers in the rays of the sun and beckons to sunbathe on it. It also has everything you need for a comfortable stay. But, here you will not find shops and nightclubs within walking distance, as on the West Beach.

The beaches of Side in the districts are called: Kyzylot, Kumkoy, Colakly, Sorgun, Kyzylagach. Among them, we can highlight the Kumkoy beach, which was created for youth recreation and is located 3 km from the resort. In the evening, bars, nightclubs and restaurants open there, so it will not be suitable for lovers of silence. The rest of the beaches in the regions are quieter and more peaceful.
